Thanksgiving with images

1. My first picture is an American flag. Using adobe photo shop I used the blur tool to create a blur of the sky and tree around the flag. Then, I used the spot healing brush to get rid of any marks on the flag. Lastly, I changed the image's color and tone.

2. My second picture is of a dog. I first used the spot healing tool to get rid of any unnecessary marks on the floor. Then, I changed the brightness and contrast of the image. Along with making it black and white.

3. The third image I edited is of a sunset. For this picture I wanted to change it so that the sunset stood out more. To do this, I changed the brightness and contrast. Then, I added more saturation and vibrancy to the photo.

4. My fourth image is of thanksgiving things. This picture had a red tone and I changed it to more of a green. Also I changed the contrast and brightness.

HTML quiz

I got 11 out of 25 on the Html quiz. For the most part I got the questions wrong with images and links because we haven't learned those yet. Also, when we had to choose between answers with equal signs and arrows and I dint know which way was correct.

20Q's Response

When using 20Q's we tried all different categories. The only ones the computer was able to answer were the Disney category (mickey Mouse) and people category (Kim Kardasion), but it took over 20 questions. To me it seemed like the computer was asking some unnecessary questions and its questions were sometimes unrelated to the first question when we said person, place or thing. We chose things like the Notebook and Pretty Little Liars which we thought were fairly easy but it never guessed them.

From Observing 5 people's blogs from the class, I noticed how everyone's chosen design was different. Some people did geometric patterns like me and others did smiley faces or objects. Also, for the cornrow design, I noticed people chose to go about it differently. Some people curved very far in while others were a straight line. Lastly, the dog design was most similar between everyone although not everyone's colors were the same.

From Designs 1 and 2, I have started to use different tools like the triangle which help making the designs more efficient. Also, I used the rectangle and line tool. Now that I am on the 3rd design I realized things like putting the backdrop color first and then creating the design over it so you don't have to use the point tool to get into the small parts.

Post #2: Current Event

In this recent article I found on CNN news, says that apple filed a patent law suit on samsung for coping them and won. Although, Samsung has changed features before the ruling was made, they still have to pay Apple $120 million. Now Samsung can no longer use aspects like the swipe to unlock, autocorrect, and quick link software. Because Apple can't not patent the basic design of the phone, they go after as much aspects as they can get.

My name is Jamie Ritondo. I am a sophomore and look forward to this year. I am apart of JV soccer and winter and spring track. I have a black lab named Darla who is now 5 years old. I really want another pet, maybe a fish!! I like to travel with my family and I'm also going with the school to London my junior year. I took this class because I heard it's fun and you learn a lot. I think I am pretty good with computers and I hope to exceed with my computer knowledge after this class.
